With relentless effort of our parish members and well-wishers, it became possible in 1985 to purchase the present 20 cents of land near Kottara Chowki, Mangalore. With the active participation of parishioners, friends, and benefactors, the construction of our church along with the parsonage was completed in 1994.
Rev. Fr. T.K. Thomas (now Cor-Episcopa), then Vicar, played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone in the history of our Church.
8th may 1994
The Late His Grace Zachariah Mar Dionysius, Bishop of Mumbai, celebrated the first Holy Mass.
12th March 1995
His Grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Bishop of Mumbai, consecrated St. Gregorios Syrian Orthodox Church.
In 2005
His Grace Yakob Mar Irenaios, Metropolitan of the then Madras Diocese, installed and consecrated the Holy Relic of Saint Gregorios (Parumala Thirumeni) .
